Question
I have a chrysler 300m year 2000 I accidently pushed the panic button and I can't turn it off. It even turn on while driving. I took out the fuse #18 but that takes out my speakers and can't hear the stereo how can I fix this? Thank you

Answer
Hi Erik,
Your remote may be damaged as regards the panic switch. I don't find any details about this sort of problem. Is it also flashing the exterior lamps and turning on the interior lamps, or is it just the horns? Have you tried to press the panic again, turn the engine off, or does it go off by itself after 3 minutes?
According to the manual the horn chirp can be disabled by pressing the LOCK button for a minimum of 4 seconds, and while holding it press the unlock button. Then release both buttons. Reverse that procedure to reinstate the chirp. You also can disconnect the RKE system so write back about that option.
