Chrysler Repair: 1989 to 1994 engine swap, egr solenoid, wire colors

Well I still find no egr solenoid. No pin inserted into pin 40 from the ecm. Weird! Anyway, I am still working the auto idle speed solenoid pin outs. I got the 1989 V6 3.0L pin out of the ECM. It looks like the auto Idle speed solenoid is wired ECM pins 17, 18, 19, 20 to n2>brn,n4>yel-blk,n1>gry-red,n3> vio-blk. which corresponds to n2 and n3 connected to coil 1 and n1 and n4 connected to coil2 inside the 1989 auto idle speed solenoid. Still don’t know which coil is open or close. lol I couldn’t find a pin out for the 1994 ECM to all its sensors yet.

I do know that my 1994 version of the Auto Idle speed solenoid has coils from pin 1 to pin 4 and pin 2 to pin3 and that the pins are not connected to the correct coils. 17, 18, 19, 20 to n2>brn hits pin 2,n4>yel-blk hits pin 3,n1>gry-red hits on pin 4 and n3> vio-blk hits on pin 1. Does your manual give the Nx posisions on the 1994 AIS Solenoid corresponding to pins 1,2,3,4?

In both the '93 and '95 manual for the 3.0 the N1 and N4 are connected and go to pins 39 and 59 of the ecm, and N2 and N3 are connected to pins 40 and 59 of the ecm. I don't know why you think they should go to 17,18,19,20; that is only true if you have a 2.5L engine. Could there have been a 2.5L in the van originally?
The main difference between the 3.0L's is that the coils' N numbers are swapped out between the early and the late years, but the concept is still: outer two pins/inner two pins are paired up, and they go to the ecm pins listed above. Wire colors are identical, just the wiring diagram N's are modified.
