Chrysler Repair: 1993 lebaron Convertible Body Computer, digital dash, kick panel

My daughters Lebaron is acting up - gas guage reads low all the time, odometer doesn't work.  I get a 921 code form the digital dash so I think its the contacts on the body computer module.  Where is the BCM on this car?  How do I get to it?  Do I have to remove the dashboard?  Chris

Hi Chris,
Does the car have an electronic (digital) dash?  If not then I don't believe you have a problem with the body computer but rather with the fuel tank sensor and with the gears in the speedometer/odometer head unit. The BCM is located behind the panel that is to the right of the passenger's right leg (so-called kick panel). You remove the screws of the panel and the door opening scuff plate to get to it. But unless the dash is electronic I don't believe the BCM itself is your problem.
