Chrysler Repair: Torque Converter Control circuit: 3 sp. auto., obdii scanner, tcc solenoid

Question
I used an OBDII scanner to check for codes on a 1995 neon coupe i'd just purchased, after it was idling harshly and wouldn't shift beyond 1st gear. It gave me the error code P0743(Torque Converter Circuit Electrical/TCC Solenoid Circuit). Is this a fuse or relay that needs to be replaced? Where is it located?

Answer
Hi Derald,
The fuse for the solenoid is #10 (15A) in the fuse box, middle row, third column. The 12V wire is dark green/white on a plug at the transmission side that faces the front of the car, near the engine/trans interface. It is connected for start and run positions of the ignition switch.
The control of the solenoid is the orange/black wire from that same plug which goes to pin 79 of the powertrain controller.
That is the basic wiring for the solenoid which is inside the trans.
