Hi Kelly,
To get to the water pump you have to remove the top radiator cross member, the fan assembly, the crank pulley, the timing covers, and the timing belt. Those are the major parts of the operation. Are you sure that it is leaking badly? They will normally weep a little, but major flow or signs of alot of deposits are not normal. I would suggest you get a Haynes manual for all the other steps associatied with changing the pump out. If money is limited you might try some stop leak.
