Question
Hi Kevin,

Have you run into many water leaks on driver side? It seems to be running down the door at the screwed on gasket on upper part of door and soaks  front and back floors.

thanks

Answer
Hi Pete,
I saw your question in the "pool" to which it has been referred by Kevin. I suspect that the leak involves the "drip rail weatherstrip" which is held in place by some sort of fasteners all along its length. About all I can suggest is that you examine the strip and its fasteners, and then try pouring some water on the weatherstrip at various locations along its lenth with the door close of course to identify where the leak is located. At that point you may be able to determine why the interface between the door and the strip is not sealed. The parts department at a dealership will no doubt have those fasteners if you need them. You also could inquire there if they have had any recalls on the strip, etc.
