Chrysler Repair: 99 Sebring 2.5L stalls when decelerating, throttle position sensor, egr valve

Question
decel stall starts right back up/no codes/fuel press ok/good spark/runs rough at 3%throttle/straighten up at 5% throttle

Answer
Whenever I see decel stall without codes I think about a sticking egr valve. So check whether the valve stem is moving back and forth easily (against spring action in one direction) and if not, then spray it with WD-40 where is enters the valve body. The other item to suspect would be the throttle position sensor which may have a slight discontinuity which you can evaluate with an ohmmeter across the center and either side terminal. Finally, it is possible for the MAP sensor to go inaccurate but not set a code. So monitor the voltage between the black/light blue and dark green/red wires to see if there is a discontinuity that doesn't seem to track with the rpm while slowing. Please let me know what you learn.
