Chrysler Repair: The a/c in my chrysler concorde., chrysler concorde, rear window

I recently brought a Chrysler Concorde and my a/ac light nor my rear defrost light doesn't come on. someone told me that it sounds like the switch. i went and brought a switch and that isn't the problem. the mechanic said that when he hooks the machine up to it to locate the problem that it cant find the a/ac. what do I do

What is the year mode; of your Concorde, and what does a/ac mean, or did you intend to type just a/c? Finally, where are these lights located? Also, is it just the lights that aren't working or is it also that the a/c doesn't work and that the rear window defroster also doesn't work. These details are important if I am going to help you.
