Chrysler Repair: 19989 Intrepid Will not start but will crank?, fuel pressure regulator, relay circuits

Question
I have a problem with my intrepid the car will not start we already replace the fuel pump but does not want to start also i want to know were i can find the fuel filter.  the only codes that come out are 1489, 1490, and 1684 can you please help me with it. thank you

Answer
Hi Beto,
The fuel filter is combined with the fuel pressure regulator as an integral part of the fuel pump module. If you replaced the fuel pump, then you probably replaced the regulator/filter unit which is on the top of the assembly. If not, then you have to replace the regulator/filter as a unit. I doubt that is why it won't start.
The codes you are getting don't appear to me to explain your no start. The 1684 means that the battery was disconnected recently. If that is not the case then that might be of interest but otherwise it is not important. The 1489, 1490 are about the radiator fan relay circuits, again nothing to do with a no start.
Are you getting spark when you crank it over? Do you know how to test for that? If not let me know and I'll describe that.
Do you hear the fuel pump run for about 1 second when you turn the key to the "run" position, before trying the starter?
Let me know and we maybe can go from there. Ideally we would like a code other than what you have gotten so far.
