QUESTION: i want to use it, but on a few occassions i have come back to the car and found the door open. the only thing i can think of is the button is being activated by accident. the most recent time was at at wal mart with my laptop on the back floor.

ANSWER: there is a disable switch on the over head when active it will ignore the inputs to the door switches  and only active from the over head switch's and the remote.

QUESTION: i'm confused, the switch is on the overhead, is this where the compass and info center is? and if so which switch is it? and will it "cut" off the signal from my remote, this is where the problem is originating?

thanks very much

Answer
yeah the same location where the other switches are for u to open them up from the over head  where the compass and info center is at. It will only turn off the ability for the door switches on the b piller so the kids can not open them from the inside   if its something other then that U might have a key fob sending out a signal or one of the bad over head switches sending a signal to open up when not wanted.
This is a 01 to 07 Chrysler,or Dodge mini van correct?
