Chrysler Repair: Eagle Vision, chrysler dealer, engine controller


Question
My 17 year old son has a 95 eagle Vision...been a very good car..second teenage son to drive it, to make a long story short he got the car stuck in a ditch, i took the tractor to pull him out, car ran fine before I pulled him out but now no fuel..no spark- i think this may be the automatic shut down system we have tripped, but I dont know the cure, we dont have a chrysler dealer for miles and i am stumped..Please help me help this fine young man back on the road

Hi Rocky,
Have you tried to get the fault code readout from the engine controller? Use the ignition key:"on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the check engine light, which remains "on", to begin to flash, pause, flash, etc. Count the number of flashes before each pause. Then repeat to assure an accurate count. Then group the counts in pairs in the order of appearance to form the two-digit fault codes. Then go www.allpar.com/fix/codes.html for a code list or write me back and we'll go from there.
I am sorry to be slow in responding but I just found the question in the "pool".
