Chrysler Repair: 98 CIRRUS BRAKE SWITCH REPLACEMENT, brake switch, cirrus

I'VE REPLACE THE SWITCH BUT I'M NOT EXACTLY CERTAIN WHAT THE CORRECT "POSITIONING" SHOULD BE.  THE BUTTON IS WHERE IT SHOULD BE BUT IT APPEARS THERE IS SOME KIND OF METAL "CLIP" THAT HOLDS THE SWITCH IN PLACE BUT I CAN DETERMINE WHERE THAT CLIP SHOULD BE PLACED.  ANY HELP IS REALLY, REALLY APPRECIATED.  THANKS.

Hi Sandi,
I just noticed your question in the "pool" and though it is now 2 weeks since you asked I thought I would respond. There is a several step procedure to change the switch which would most efficiently be provided if I were to xerox a copy from the manual and mail it to you. If you still need it let me know using the "thank and rate" tab where there is a space for comments and where you can give me a postal mailing address.
