Question

Answer
Hi Robert,
The antenna cable is routed above the glove box and thru the body wall to the area between the firewall and the inner fender liner/splash shield.  To access that hidden area you remove the front wheel and then you will find push-pins (gently pry out the round pin in the inner circumference of the fastener to release it) or screws that attach that liner to the frame and to the fender. Once you remove that you will see the antenna and cable. You might want to begin in the cabin by removing the glove box (un-clip the door checkstraps from the door, then pivot the box downward to release it from the hinge hooks) and examine whether the disconnect is there or not. If not, then remove the inner fender. To remove the antenna body from the fender you lift up on the cone-shaped surrounding the antenna and you will find a nut which when released allows the entire antenna body to drop out. You should be able to reconnect things or replace the parts as necessary.
