Chrysler Repair: Town & Country Brake issues/ABS, rear brakes, air bubbles

Question
We've had repairs on our 1998 Chrystler Town & Country in 2007 that started out with the left front brake line broken and leaking. We chose to replace all the brake lines.  Then we had the front brakes and rear brakes replaced. Within a month of replacing the front brakes, our brake light went on and off. After about 2 weeks, we had the brakes looked at and the rear brakes were adjusted. After leaving the shop with readjusted brakes, we started for a three hour trip.  About 40 minutes later, at 50 mph, the steering wheel began to shake violently, as if we were driving over a severly dimpled road. We turned around and stopped back home.  My husband could smell the brake material and felt heat coming off of these rear brakes. Upon examination by the midas dealer that day, they did get the four wheels to 'lock up' causing some vibration- and found that the proportional valve was 'faulty', and a bad brake pump part.  They replaced these items, and fully bled the brake system 5 times.  Through continued observation, they still found 'air bubbles'.  A forty mile drive at 60 mph did not produce the kind of steering wheel shake that we had however.  They did some research online, and stated that there was a recall on the 1997 ABS system.  They also said that they weren't completely happy with the 'feel' of the brake pedal.  They were concerned that the ABS pump could fail and suggested that it may be under warranty yet.  They encouraged us to check it out with a dealer.
What can you tell us about the ABS?

Answer
first of all  the ABS is only used when the brakes are about to lock up and cause one or more wheels to stop moving. The the ABS kicks in and will pulse the brake pads so that U can maintain control of the brakes with out then locking up. SO with that said  a recall is not going to take care of what Issue U have and if U want me to take a look at the recall give me the last 8 of your vin so I can see if U have a recall on your van ne way. I think u got bad parts, cheap ones. or a line is not tight all the way causing a leak or something along that line of issues.
