Question
when i recentley did work to my throttle body, some of the vaccum lines had to be replaced...now i think the setup is wrong because my check engine light is on and the engine is starting to stumble...can you give me a diagram for the vaccum line?

Answer
Hi Dirt,
I can, but it needs to be sent by US mail because the site does not provide for transmitting drawnings. Use the "thank and rate" tab where you will find a space for comments where you can list a postal mailing address. I'll xerox and mail it to you but tell me which engine you have and whether it was sold in California or not originally, and whether it has anti-lock brakes.
On the stumbling, you might check for fault codes:
Turn the ignition key:"on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the check engine light which remains 'on' to begin to flash, pause, flash, etc. Count the number of flashes before each pause. Then repeat to be sure you have an accurate count. The last two sets of flashes will always be 5 in each. When you group the numbers in pairs in the order of appearance to form the 2-digit fault codes you will thus always end with 55 which is the code for "end of readout". Let me know the other codes and we can go from there, and tell me about your problem. You can also get a code listing at www.allpar.com/fix/codes.html
