Chrysler Repair: ignition & other electric woes, key light, dash lights

98 chrys t&c started 3x and cut out immed as if gas starved. after 3 starts as above, no turnover.  no starter noise but barely audible click behind or below center dash.  no dash lights.  20 m later back to normal.  battery new & chgd. interior lights, ign key light etc. which respond to open door or remote door unlock do not go on, but heard slight noise in dimmer switch on dash and touching it worked the lights.  no more, and sound is gone. dimmer ok but top position, inside lights, not functioning.  any relationship to ignition, common relay or such?

Hi Louis,
The history of starting and dieing immediately, etc. reminds me of an anti theft-system that has been alarmed and not reset. Try locking then unlocking the driver's door with the door key, to see if that remedies the problem. If not then try the same routine on the passenger side door. Let me know if you still can't get it run for more than a few seconds.
I don't understand the rest of what you recounted. Would you try again, separating the observations into sentences without any abbreviations, and tell me exactly what you have done. It is too difficult for me to understand.
