Hey, I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. It won't start and acts like the battery is dead. But all the lights and stereo, etc are working. I think it is the security system that is draining the battery. It will start with a Jump from a powerful Full Size truck. Can you let me know what the problem might be. I heard it might be the security system draining the battery. If so , how do I disconnect the security system? Thank You...

u cant disconnect the alarm system  its built into the system   if U could take it out  what good would it to have it in the first place?
there is no guessing to what is killing your battery  U will haft to ahve some on do an battery off draw test inorder to find out what is staying on past its time and killing the battery.
