Hi Tim,
I got a question about the timing belt on a similar car yesterday and here is my response:
I assume you have the 3.5L engine. Fortunately that engine is designed to be safe when the belt breaks so all you have to do is replace the belt and it should run again. You will need to take care to get it all lined up (sprockets, crankshaft at TDC of cyl 1, etc. It involves removing the accessory belts, crank shaft damper, front covers, tensioner, lining up, installing belt, tensioner, covers, damper, accessory belts.  Compared to many engines it is pretty good. You would want a manual (or the pages therefrom) that give you the details. Let me know if you can't easily get a hold of one and I'll copy the pages you need and postal mail them to you. This site won't accept scanned documents so that is why it needs to be xerox copied and postal mailed.
