Chrysler Repair: 2001 Town & Country / 3.8L, solid state relay, radiator fan

Question
QUESTION: The right side fan blade is broken away from the fan motor. Neither fan is running. Are the fans wired in series or parallel? Would the right side going out cause niether fan to run, or should the left side fan still be running? Bottom line. Do I need to buy R & L sides both?
Thanks,
Paul

ANSWER: most of the time  they come together as a pair.

QUESTION: Is that an answer to what I asked you? You should seriously consider a career as a politician. Wiring - series or parallel?

ANSWER: what does the wiring have to do with a broken fan  not a thing  go ask some one else I dont need to answer to a rude person.
and FYI  they are both series and parallel.

QUESTION: Now we're getting somewhere. Why didn't you address the wiring in your first response? I apologize for sounding rude. You didn't deserve that. In your first response you sounded as though you weren't interested in answering my question as much as you were interested in picking up some side work. You ask a good question though. It's basically the same question I asked the first time. What does wiring have to do with a broken fan? That's what I want to know. I have already replaced the broken fan (right side) and still niether fan runs after the engine temp. begins to rise. The fuse looks fine. When I went to buy the first (r) fan, they asked me which side I needed, which tells me that you don't always have to replace both. Before I go and buy the left side fan, is there any other reason the fans wouldn't be coming on?

Answer
U could be looking at the fan relay which is a solid state relay under the front bumper.

REMOVAL
Open hood.
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Remove the radiator crossmember to front fascia closure panel.
Disconnect the relay electrical connector (Radiator Fan Relay).
Remove the rivet attaching the relay to the front bumper beam (Radiator Fan Relay).
Remove the relay.

BTW  The point about the side work is my signature  is goes on every post  weather or not u are on ATL or not.
I have answered over 12,000 questions sense I have started doing this in the past 6 months and maybe gotten 100 requests in the ATL for work.
If u lived in the ATL area it would be just a bit more personal with the help in doing stuff on here.  Go to a dealer for the part  I think the dealer is  the only one that sells this kinda relay.
