Chrysler Repair: 1997 Concorde ATC blower stuck in on position, 1997 chrysler concorde, automatic temperature control

Question
Hi there. I have a 1997 Chrysler Concorde with Automatic Temperature Control digital temperature display. The heater-A/C fan stays on constantly as soon as the car is started and is not adjustable. The temperature is still adjustable. When the "OFF" button on the temp control is pressed the display and heat-A/C shuts down, but not the fan, it stays on high.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Answer
Hi Ross,
The chances are high that the blower motor power module has failed.
It is located in the air duct immediately to the left of the blower motor itself (so as to cool the electronics when in use). If you remove the right side underpanel silencer/duct you will see the right end of the HVAC distribution housing. Then find the blower and its wires that are plugged into the power module. Unplug the plugs on the module, remover two screws and it will come out from the duct. Then get a used one out of wreck or a new one from the dealer and you should regain control of the fan.
