Chrysler Repair: Indicator Lights Flashing, dodge ram 2500, electronic control modules


Question
2005 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Deisel:
The small indicator lights that come on when using A/C, and the one that comes on when you turn on the Heated Mirrows started flashing for no reason. I cannot turn them off, except turning off the ignition. I tried removing the approiate fuses/relays to no avail.
Will disconnecting the batterys(2 on this truck)reset the computer, and fix ???

EBL STATUS INDICATOR FLASHING
For a complete wiring diagram Refer to Section 8W.

Theory of Operation
Running the HVAC Door Recalibration will cause the EBL status indicator to flash. If recalibration fails, the status indicator will continue to flash until either the system passes recalibration or the ignition key is cycled. When the EBL status indicator is flashing, it will not indicate EBL operating status. However, the EBL mode switch will continue to function normally. When the EBL status indicator is flashing, the A/C status indicator will not function. However, the A/C mode switch will continue to function normally.

Possible Causes  
HVAC DOOR RECALIBRATION FAILED  

1. PERFORM THE HVAC DOOR RECALIBRATION

Turn the ignition on.
With the DRBIII® in HVAC, select System Tests and then select HVAC Door Recalibration. Allow the test to run to completion before proceeding.

Does the DRBIII® display: Recalibration Test Passed?

Yes
Test Complete.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES/FRONT CONTROL MODULE - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING).

No
Diagnose and repair the fault(s). Refer to the Table of Contents in this Section for a complete list of all HVAC related symptoms.
