Chrysler Repair: 98 caravan water pump remove/replace, motor swaps, haynes manual

Question
Working on a 3.0 caravan. Already took the thing halfway apart mostly impart
to people convincing me to do something that after looking at the book I
didn't think that I could handle. I was right so far. I haven't been able t even
get the timin belt cover off to get to the damn thing. I've done motor swaps
and fixed bout everyting to be done in the older chevy's. was this a bad idea
and how do I get myself out of this?

I feel your pain. It wasn't clear to me where you are in the process. But the Haynes manual (#30011) is the best write-up that I have seen for fine points and details. I can xerox and postal mail the pages that apply. Which manual are you working from?
If you can hold off until the mail get the material to you, let me know a postal mailing address by using the "thank and rate" tab where there is a space for comments. If you belt isn't pretty new it would be wise to replace that too at this time.
