Chrysler Repair: 2007 Chrysler T&C- Driver Rearview Mirror Replacement, chrysler products, side mirror

Question
Please let me know if there is anything complicated about replacing a driver's side mirror on a 2007 Chrysler T&C (e.g., special tools that are needed).  Can you confirm that, in order to access the bolts that I will need to remove the old mirror, I should only need to remove the small interior door molding piece in the inside front corner of the window?  I'm trying to save $100 by doing this myself but, I don't want to end up breaking pieces / not having the correct tools once I'm in the middle of the project, etc.  I have done this on non-Chrysler products in the past and it's always been fairly easy.

Answer

Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped.
