Chrysler Repair: gasoline leakage, concrete floor, gasoline

Question
Recently I stored my car at my mom's house in her garage for a few days.  I came back and found some gasoline leakage under the car, enough to wet a few layers of newspaper.  The whole house along with the garage now smells of gasoline ( has been for 5 days now ) despite my effort to clean up the garage.  Someone told me that gasoline must have gone through the concrete floor and into the foundation  soil, and is spreading through the entire house that way.   I'd like to know if that's possible, and if you have suggestions for remedy.  Thank you in advance.

Answer
Hi Chin,
I would doubt that it would spread out that far from the garage as to now be under the house. The soil would absorb it locally, IF it went thru the concrete. I doubt that very much would have penetrated thru concrete, but if there were a crack thru the concrete that might increase the flow to the underground. I would just try to air out the garage as mush as possible with fan(s) and let time take its course.
