Chrysler Repair: Chrysler grand voyger horn, cruise and air bag wont function, chrysler grand voyger, flexible coupling

The cruse, horn and the air bag light on my 2000 chrystlar all stopped at the same time. I checked the fuses and they all look good. I'm not sure where to look next.

Hi Bill,
That has to be the clockspring connector between the steering wheel and the column. It is the multi-wire flexible coupling between the two components. You might check with the dealer/corporate headquarters for a recall on this safety related device which did experience premature faulure in the latter half of the 90's. You might get a free replacement if so. But just by chance also look along the column to make sure none of the electrical connectors are opened up due to an accidental "kick".
