Chrysler Repair: 2006 Dodge Mega Cab A/C unit., c unit, dodge mega cab

2 fold question. A. my recirculation door broke off inside the A/C housing. It was repaired under warranty. But my warranty is nearly up. They also fixed it in less than 2 hours. Since this is a common failure and I expect to be back here again, how the heck did they get to that door and fix it in less that 2 hours? Also, I hear there are 2 filters that direct air to the back vents on the mega cab. A suggested TSB to improving the airflow on the AC and improve the cooling on the Mega is to remove these redirection filters. How do I get to them? Is it as easy as getting to the recirc door appears to be? Thanks...J.Davis

get the TSB  and it will have instructions and part numbers for that issue  and yes  2 hours is about right for the rec door  I do about 2 a week. The new doors wont have that issue  like the ones broken  there is now a stop so it wont keep going and brake them any more.
