Chrysler Repair: 1986 Chrysler new yorker has heart ache, fuel pressure regulator, chrysler new yorker

Question
Hi. I am having problems with my car,(1986 Chrysler New Yorker it has the 2.5 4 cyl in it, and is running like crap. it is blowing alot of black smoke, and running rough, not to mention that it is consuming almost double the fuel it is supposed to. I have changed the TPS sensor, the Temp Sensor, the O2 sensor, the fuel pressure regulator, EGR valve, new plugs, wires, rotor, cap, air filter, even added fuel injector cleaner, as well as replaced alot of the vacuume lines. I have the map sensor to change, but I cannot find where it is located. Can you please tell me where I might find this? Also, can you tell me what it is connected to so that I might have an easier time locating it? Thank you in advance, Rob

Answer
Hi Rob,
The MAP sensor is located right on the logic module which itself is in the cabin on the right side cowl. It is attached to the intake manifold by a vaccum hose that goes through the firewall and that then goes to the throttle body.
I hope this helps cure the heart disease.
