Chrysler Repair: speedometer tachometer, bad cluster, bus network

QUESTION: while trying to start my 2003 t&c it clicked similiar to when the battery is dead, and at the same time,  the speedometer and tachometer needles swung clockwise then back.   It finally started and everything has been fine since, except the speedometer and tachometer don't work at all.  The odometer is ok.

ANSWER: any check engine light on?

QUESTION: NO,  NOT CHECK ENGINE LIGHT.   EVERTHING WORKS NORMALLY,  EXCEPT SPEEDOMETER AND TACHOMETER

Answer
The speed and tach are messages sent over a Bus network and then the cluster will display what the info is sent to it. Most of the other items like miles on the odometer are also sent on that same network  so if that part is working correctly  then I would say u have a bad cluster.
