Chrysler Repair: ldp-03 chrysler sebring, negative battery cable, crysler sebring

QUESTION: i took my 03 chrysler sebring to the shop for the engine light on, they did their test, came up with code p0441, said i need a new NVLD assembly. is that the same thing as a leak detection pump? if so where is it and is it possible for a do-it-your self mechanic to take care of?

ANSWER: sebring what??  4 door   convertible    2 door hard top?

REMOVAL
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the fuel tank, refer to the fuel tank removal in this section
Disconnect the EVAP hoses from the EVAP canister and the electrical connector (EVAP CANISTER HOSES).
Squeeze the lower tabs on the EVAP canister to release it (EVAP CANISTER BOTTOM TABS).
Swing the EVAP canister away from the lower bracket.
Lift the EVAP canister up and off the upper mounting tab (EVAP CANISTER TOP TAB) and (EVAP CANISTER TOP MOUNTING).
