what is the easiest way to replace the starter on a 98 Chrysler town and country mini van?

Hi Jorge,
There are actually 4 different engines and therefor some slight differences in detail but basically the steps are:
Open the hood
Remove the - post clamp from the battery
Jack up the front of the van and put it on jack stands
Disconnect the electrical connections from the starter motor
Remove the bolts that hold the mounting flange to the bell housing
Remove the starter motor
Installation is the reverse
With the 3.3/3.8L engines notice that there is a spacer between the flange and the mounting surface that must be re-used for a proper fit.
