Answer
Hi Christinne,
I suspect that the battery has run down to too low a voltage to operate the starter motor (you didn't say specifically it the stater worked but from what you said about the flickering lights that would be consistent with a discharged battery). I would suggest either a jump start with cables from another vehicle, but be careful to do + to +, and - to a metal bolt on the engine, so as not to reverse the polarity which could damage the electronics. Alternatively you could remove the battery and have it charged at a service station. I assume the red light was indicating voltage or some similar symbol for electricity.
On the CD, you will need to find the previous owner and ask them what the anti-theft code # is and how to program that in to restore its function. All these things (mirror/seats) you have experienced also go along with a discharged battery (their memory is dependent on the battery). Maybe an interior light was left on so check that too.
Even if it starts with a jumper you will want to drive it locally until it recharges enough to not let you down again in an inconvenient location. You might also look at the battery to see if it has a punched-out sticker that shows when it was new. The battery might have a life expectancy of 5 or 6 years so it may be it is too old to keep a charge.
Let me know what happens and I can perhaps be of further help.
Roland.
PS I won't be available for another 12 hours but I'll check back at that time.
