my problem is the anti theft is engaged and it will not let the starter engage or fuel injection is there a way to bypass the anti theft system or can you direct me to where i can obtain the means to re program it thks dennis

Hi Dennis,
All you can do is try to lock, then unlock either door to see if you can get a voltage pulse of the right size to the body computer. It may just be that the wire from the key lock is not conducting any longer. You may be able to create such a voltage pulse but it involves jumping 12V thru a resistor to one of the wires at the body computer. There is no way to disconnect the system as it is programmed into the body computer and the powertrain computer. So try both doors to see if you can cancel the alarmed status. I may be able to tell you how to do the jumpering but I need to study the circuit a bit. So write back with a follow-up.
