Chrysler Repair: 96 Jeep Gr Cherokee A/C control not working at all, fuse box diagram, automatic temperature control

Question
I have the automatic temp control unit, and it suddenly quit working -- no display, controls do nothing, fan won't blow, etc.  All other systems fucntioning fine (radio, info center, etc). I checked all fuses (under dash in under hood), etc. and all seems fine.  There does seem to be 12V power getting to the unit -- at least some of the wires in the huge connector going to it have power -- but I don't have any schematics to know which is the primary supply.  Also I don't know which if the relays in the under-hood box, if any, might be at fault (the diagram didn't match the layout in the box).  So I have these questions:

1. Is there a heater/AC "power module" somewhere that could be the culprit instead of the dash control module?  (And where is it located so I can investigate/replace?)

2. If not, where could I find a good wiring diagram and/or alternate relay/fuse box diagram to help me figure out if the control unit is getting the power/signals it should be getting, before trying to replace it?

3. Any other ideas?
