Hi there..i have 2001 chrystler neon..runs nice...before few days i forgot to switch off my light and my battery died....garage man turn my car on with spark and i ran my car for like 1 hour after that...its working properley now but my cd player that i have original from the company...asking me the code and stopped working..so how should i get that code???

The code is the anti-theft device that makes the unit unuseable unless it is programmed by the owner into the memory of the device. When the battery is disconnected it erases the memory. The buyer of the car is informed of the code at the time of original purchase. If you didn't get the code then I would look through the papers that came with the car to see if you can find any mention of it. Other than that, you might ask a dealer if there is a way to get it based upon the vehicle i.d. number, because the factory may keep a record of this. Otherwise, you may have to try all the possible code numbers until you accidentally find the correct one. Or the dealer may be able to install a new code and thus you will know what it is.
