Chrysler Repair: WATER PUMP OR O-RING replacement?, losing coolant, coolant loss

Question
My 96 chrysler sebring is overheating and we think its the o-ring? wondering how to change it?

Answer
Hi Skylar,
If you aren't losing coolant then why change any plumbing?
To change the o-ring you pretty much have to remove the water pump which is a fairly long procedure and involves removing an engine mount and the timing belt, etc., if you have the 2.5L engine. Let me know a little more about your car: which engine and which body style, and about the issue of coolant loss or not.
