Chrysler Repair: my 00 T&C problems, rear wheel bearings, chrysler town and country

Question
Hello Kevin, my name is Tim. I have a 2000 Chrysler Town and Country 3.3L with about 160K miles on it. I bought it used from a local Auto dealer. I have several issues that range from mundane to perplexing. Ill start with the simple ones.
How do you remove the head light covers? The clear plastic seems terribly foggy and I was wanting to clean them with a bug/tar cleaner both on the inside and out. Is there a way to do this?

Secondly, the A/C doesnt blow cold air. I have both paid a shop and tried myself to refill the freon(I triple checked to make sure it was the right kind) and it still wont blow cold. It was suggested that the BOTH evaporators have gone out. Is there a way to check this to be the case? Any other suggestions?

I believe I need to either regrease or replace the rear wheel bearings. I hear a lot of what sounds like road noise coming from the back of the car.

Finally, the problem that led me to your forum here initially. Here recently my girlfriend and I have been experiencing an odd problem with starting the vehicle. Sometimes when we turn the key, a single click will sound and that car will not turn over. We can turn if off and on several times and all we get is a single click.(ie turn key to start and *click* turn key back to off or run. turn key to start and *click*, etc) Other times we can turn the key and it will start right up. Her father said it was the thing on the starter that engaged the flywheel not fully extending. Someone else told me it involved the selenoid. Any ideas? Other info you might find useful is nothing strange happens with the gauges. The clock on the radio keeps time. Neither the odometor or tripometer loose information. I would appreciate any and all help you could give me.

Answer
3 8 mm screws on top that hold the head lights in place
