Question
i am trying to replace a 1996 right side cv shaft on a 1996 plymouth voyager 3.3... I cant get it out of the drive hub...

Answer
Hi Morgan,
Have you removed the brake caliper and rotor? Have you separated the tie rod end? Have you removed the cotter and castellated nut from the ball joint lower stud?
Have you turned the steering knuckle so the front is as far out as it can be, and separated the steering knuckle from the stud of the lower ball joint by hitting the boss of the steering knuckle (do not pry apart)?  Have you supported the drive shaft, and is the inner cv still in the transaxle?
Now pull on the steering knuckle, out and away, from the outer cv-joint and driveshaft assembly.
It may be rusted in place, so you might try spraying the spaces around the splines with penetrating oil. Ultimately you may need to use a large gear puller to press on the end of the shaft to press it out.
