Chrysler Repair: intake air temp. sensor, ft lbs torque, intake air temperature sensor


Question
I have a 97 sebring convertible with a 4 cyl engine.  The check engine light is on and according to the auto parts staff the computer says I need a Intake Air Temp. sensor. Question: Is this located on the passanger end of the engine under the thermostat  I took out the one that was there and some water drained out.

INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR
The intake air temperature sensor threads into the intake manifold plenum Intake Air Temperature Sensor and MAP Sensor - 2.4L or Intake Air Temperature Sensor and MAP Sensor - 2.5L

REMOVAL
Remove electrical connector from sensor.
Remove sensor.
INSTALLATION
Install sensor. Tighten sensor to 28 N·m (20 ft. lbs.) torque.
Attach electrical connector to sensor.
