Chrysler Repair: Service Engine Soon light on briefly: Sebring 97, chrysler sebring, sufficient concern

Hi,

i got a chrysler sebring JX 97 model. Around 3-4 days back, my dash borad light "Service Engine Soon" got turned on. My car is driving well since then and i didn't saw any issue with the engine noise or run. But still i went to AutoZone to get the error code which i thought may turned on the light. But the machine show "No Error code" found. Please suggest me what need to be done in this case.

Hi Nishant,
The temporary "on" condition and the lack of any stored fault codes means that the problem, whatever it was, was not of sufficient concern or duration to be of concern.
I would not worry about it. Just be sure to follow up again if the light stays "on" in the future. There is no way to know what caused it do that, so there is no practical way to find out. If this happens and you do get a code, write again and also mention which size engine you have.
