Question
My 92 IROC Daytona turn signals started working eraticly then quit altogether. I bought several turn signal combo headlight switches at local salvage yards. Can only get the right signal to work and now they dont cancel either. The odameter quit working years ago. dont know if this is related or not. Bought this car new off showroom floor. Now it seems electrical gremlins are sufacing.  Car has never been in wreck garage kept please help thank you .

Answer
Hi Geoff,
That year has a really complicated system including a "diode package" and cancellation switch, relays and other complications. The best thing would be for me to copy by xerox and postal mail you about 10 pages of wiring diagrams and text about the system so you could go through the trouble shoot. Just use the "thank and rate" tab to give me a postal mailing address to send these to you. If you could send me back about 4 41-cent stamps that would cover my costs for copying and postage.
The odometer is gear driven and you can get new gears from odometers.com where they sell for $25.
