Chrysler Repair: Downstream right oxygen sensor wire colors, late 90s, wire colors, oxygen sensor

Question
Replacing 02 sensor on passenger side, down stream.  Replacement 02 sensor has 2 whites, one grey, one black.  The factory plugin wiring was badly burned and the wires are not of the same color.  They are black, brown, orange and another color. Which of these wires go to the new sensor?

Answer
Hi Worth,
There are two heater wires that are interchangeable: the two white ones on the new sensor can be attached to either the orange/(dark green) and the solid black as you choose.
The gray one is the sensor ground and should be attached to a black/dark blue wire which is probably the fourth one that you described as "another color". The black one is the signal wire and it should be attached to the "brown" wire which if you look carefully should be actually tan/white.
So look carefully at the factory plug in to verify what I believe the factory plug-in wire colors are.
