Chrysler Repair: Rear brakes on Dodge truck drag on one side, dodge ram 1500, parking brake cable

I own a 1997 dodge ram 1500 pickup, I replaced the rear brakes, lines,drums,return springs,wheel cylinders,axle seals. The problem I'm having is my drives side brake get extremely hot,I adjusted 5 different times this side still get hot. as suggestions please send our way. very pissed.

Hi Terry,
I don't have manuals for trucks but a couple of suggestions:
1.the automatic adjuster 'teeth' might be worn out /not meshing properly with the action limiter spring clip (visually compare its spacing with that on the other side as it could be automatically tightenening itself too much when you are braking when moving backwards which it when it does its auto adjustment action),
2. the parking brake cable on that side may be binding up in its casing and/or the balancing yoke between the two "arms" of the cables that go to either side may be binding up due to rust corrosion, or crud at the yoke.
Otherwise I can't identify another cause.
