Chrysler Repair: 2006 pt cruiser overheating, electric fan, wiring diagrams

Question
The cruiser only has 8k miles on it. It started overheating. It doesn't seem like the electric fan is working. I can't figure which fuse it is for that. The fluids are nomal, it was shut off as soon as I noticed thge problem. Which fuse should I check?

Answer
Hi Ed,
I don't have any wiring diagrams for the PT model, but based upon by experience with the other Chrysler lines I would suggest you look under the hood in the power distribution center box where there are relays and main fuses, and examine any fuse that is 30 or 40 amp in capacity as that fuse(s) would be necessary to drive the fans. There may be labels on all the fuses, too.
I wonder if your vehicle shouldn't be under warranty as well.
