Chrysler Repair: 2000 Chrysler Sebring Conv., chrysler sebring convertible, chrysler sebring

Question
I have a 2000 Chrysler Sebring Convertible and have been having intermittent problems with what I thought was the electrical system but the dealer has checked it out several times and can’t find anything wrong. Sometimes I can’t get the key out of the ignition, the interior light will flash off and on when I open the door, the cd player cuts out when I turn a corner, just strange things.
Yesterday, the seatbelts would not come out and when I started the car, they worked fine.  Once the car started and the seatbelts worked, I put the car in drive and it stalled.  I started the car again and the word “deck” appeared in the trip/odometer readout.  The past several starts of the car, the word “deck” has appeared.  I can press the reset/trip button and it goes away but comes back every time I restart the car.  I’ve checked everywhere and can’t find what this code means.  Can you give me some information?

Answer
DECK would be your trunk lid. Either the latch is bad or not tight enough to let the computer see thats its closed. That would also do the inside lights flickering as well.
The key would be a key cly The dealer should know about that gee. THe cd player  new radio.  U can get the key out by hitting the key itself while turning it.
