Chrysler Repair: 2001 Sebring A/C problem, pressure relief valve, pressure transducer

Question
We have an 01 sebring that the A/C works intermittently. It works at first but then blows warm air after everyting warms up. We have it at the dealership now for the second time.

First they replaced the expansion valve but no help. Then after keeping it for two weeks before they could duplicate what we were tell them. They said it was a problem with the comperssor clutch so they replaced the compressor but this did not help either.
This all started in Sept of 06 and tt seams that when the car warms up the A/C quits.
Any advise would be greatly appreaciated, the dealer is stumped.

Answer
Hi Ed,
There are several other interlocking type of controls that will cut off the compressor, if that is what is happening when the AC quits. Are the fans runing as soon as you ask for AC? There is also an evaporator probe, a high pressure relief valve, and a pressure transducer, any one of which could be inaccurate and shutting down the compressor for no good reason (assuming the system is otherwise OK). Maybe taking it to an independent shop will yield success. I hope you do get it working again and if so please let me know what was the problem.
