the button to put down the top in my 97 sebring convertible no longer works? any suggestions as to why?

Begin by checking fuse #11 in the power distribution box under the hood and fuse #4 and 5 in fuse box under the dash. If that doesn't reveal the cause, then go to the trunk and check for whether you can hear a clicking sound from the up and down relays when a helper tries to operate the switch. Let me know what you ovserve.
