Chrysler Repair: 2006 Jeep Transmission No Dip Stick, jeep grand cherokee, model jeep

Question
I know you don't specify my year model jeep, but thought I'd give it a shot.
I have a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Liberty 6cyl. We bought it and realized later it has no transmission dip stick. It does have the tube, but a rubber stopper in it. I asked at the dealership and they say it is checked by a special tool by chrysler only.  My problem, I live in the country, only one chrysler dealership within a 100 miles of me. They only service vehicles m-f 7:30-5pm. I work m-f 8am-5pm. , and can not take off work. They leave me no choice but to have it serviced elsewhere on the weekend,,,, but no mechanic around me has the ability to check the transmission level. Should I be worried or is this one of those things that just doesn't have to be checked regularly? I am normally good about getting things checked out and have my vehicles oil changed every 3000 miles. If there is another way of checking it, I'd appreciate the hint.
Thank you,
Debbie

Answer
Hi Debbie,
I am not familiar with how that level is checked either. But transmissions do not "use" fluid. They only may leak fluid. So if you find no pink colored fluid under the spot where you park the Jeep, specifically under the powertrain part where the transmission is located, I would not worry about it all. If there is no sign of leakage, it is all there.
