Chrysler Repair: Ooops, shorted 12V supply to radio: Caravan, aftermarket radio, radio swap

Question
Hello, When installing an aftermarket radio using scoshe
cr01 wire harness.Found after the fact Constant 12v was not the same as OEM location in plug. OOOPS!!! I lost power to elect. door locks, interior
lighting, radio, etc. All fuses are good. Must have opened up a PTC. This was given time to cool(over a minute) but it did not reset. Any way for me to replace the PTC? if so where are they soldered to??
This is not my first radio swap, and was supposed to have been a surprise for my wife. It was a surprise alright!!!! I have returned everything to OEM components. any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hi Eric,
I would take a look at fuse 28 in the power distribution center under the hood as that one is involved in the constant 12V supply to the radio and the door locks and the body control module. It may be cracked and not look blown so test it. That would be the logical place to look if you shorted the supply and alot of things stopped working because of the involvement of the body controller too.
I don't see a PTC that is at risk. I'm basing this analysis on the '98 manual which should apply to your '00 model
