Chrysler Repair: oil pressure sender/switch, vacuum hoses, oil pressure sender

Question
i believe that is what its called.  i have a 93 chrysler imperial, V6, and the plug that measures the oil pressure got disconnected.  where exactly is this located so we can hook it back up again? my mechanic boyfriend is not used to working on chrysler's and in the course of changing my valve cover gaskets, and changing out my thermostat, and the little vacuum hoses, this got disconnected somehow.  any help would be appreciated.

Answer
Hi Amy,
There are 3 different engine blocks that might be used in the Imperial (2.5,3.0, 3.3/3.8L) but all of them put the sender/switch on the side of the engine that faces the front of the vehicle, usually very close to the oil filter. So take a look on the engine block proper in the vicinity of the filter to find the switch which looks a rod screwed into the block with the receptacle that accepts the wire's plug. The wires are colored gray and gray/yellow.
