Answer
Hi Yumei,
I am not experienced in time of job estimation. The best thing to do is ask at several reliable shops for what they would charge for labor and parts. Also, there are 3 or 4 different engines that were used so you need to specify which one is in the van.
If it is not major leak and you wanted to try something yourself, I have had good success when the leak was not due to a frankly torn head gasket but rather due to the head bolts not being tight enough. You loosen the bolts slightly then retorque them to specification. If it works then you save a lot of money, otherwise nothing is lost. But you will need a torque wrench and the instructions for getting to the bolts and a set of socket wrenches to do this. If you want to try it let me know and I'll send you the instructions by xerox copy and postal mail. Be sure to say which engine you have.
